Over the moon!I watched the lunar eclipse last night. It’s not really something that I would typically do, but one of the amazing things about Sudan is how clear the skies are and how dazzling the stars are. I wasn’t able to get a decent picture of the darkened reddened moon, but the view here was pretty astounding. Just another exciting Juba Saturday!
Haven’t been able to post anything as of late, partly due to the fact that I’ve been crazy busy trying to tie up some loose ends with regard to my assignment and partly because there isn’t a whole lot going on. Tentatively, I’m slated to leave Sudan on April 14th (where does the time go?), three days in Nairobi, two or three days in London, and then to New York!
My heart skips a beat at the thought of being able to hit Mangia, Whole Foods and Duane Reade!
